The Treatment
Dermal filler are used to restore volume to the face. Areas that can be treated include the cheeks, nasolabial folds, between the brows, jaw line and chin.
Time required for the appointment: 30 minutes to an hour.
What are dermal fillers and when will I see results?
The filler is made from hyaluronic acid, a nutrient rich substance found naturally in your body. This is a smooth gel that produces immediate, natural feeling results. The results are immediate.
The treatment involves the injection of the filler just under the skin using either a cannula or fine needle. Following treatment the area will be gently massaged.
How long do the results last?
Results can generally last from between 12-18 months.

Are there any side effects?
Bruising can occur. Other side effects can include redness, itching and swelling. Following treatment an after-care advice sheet will be given to you and it is very important that you follow the advice given.
Does the procedure hurt?
Local anaesthetic cream will be applied to the area to be injected.
