Wrinkle Relaxing Injections
The Treatment
Botox relaxes the facial muscles by causing them to become temporarily inactive. The result should give a fresher, smoother look to the face. The most common areas injected are between the eyebrows, the forehead and the crow’s feet. In time with repeated treatments, the lines should gradually fade.
All new customers must have an initial consultation. The consultation will include a full medical history. Potential side effects will be explained along with post treatment care and advice. Botox is not suitable for everyone and suitability can be assessed at the first consultation.
Treatment is given via a tiny needle and slight discomfort might be felt. It usually takes about 10 minutes to administer. For those with a low pain threshold, local anaesthetic cream can be administered prior to the procedure. Results can usually be noticed around 4 days following the treatment and the full effect is usually achieved in 2 weeks. A follow up review may be needed 2 weeks later. The effects usually last 3-4 months.
Time required for the appointment: 30 minutes

Bruising can sometimes occur. Other side effects may include a headache, heavy brow and lid droop but these side effects are very rare and if they do occur, will be expertly managed by myself.
